QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Clean with soap → dry → wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
Tape a top hinge to align.
Peel a few inches of liner, tack the top, then squeegee while pulling liner.
Warm curves lightly; squeegee from center out.
Let cure (dry: ~24h) before hard washing/riding.
Peel 2–3" of liner from the top of the sticker.
Tack the exposed adhesive to the plate’s top edge, checking alignment.
Slowly pull the liner while squeegeeing from the center outward in short, overlapping strokes.
Work down the plate, keeping tension on the vinyl so it lays smooth.
For curves, warm the vinyl gently and continue squeegeeing—do not overheat.
Designed for ODI number plates (BMX/MTB/e-Moto).
Works best on clean, smooth plastics (polypropylene/ABS).
Light factory texture is OK; heavy texture or silicone-coated surfaces can reduce adhesion.
Isopropyl alcohol (70–90%) and lint-free cloth or paper towels
Mild dish soap + water (for wet method, optional)
Felt-edge squeegee or old credit card wrapped in microfiber
Masking tape (for hinge alignment)
Hair dryer/heat gun on LOW (optional for curves)
Wash the plate with mild soap and water; rinse and dry.
Wipe thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol. Let it flash off.
Make sure the plate is room-temperature (65–80°F / 18–27°C). Cold plastic = poor stick.
Dry-fit the sticker over the plate to understand the edges and cutouts (cable holes, bolt holes, vents).
Center it visually; use small masking-tape tabs as “hinges” along the top edge.
For number kits with separate side wings, start with the main center piece first.
Warm the vinyl slightly and “bridge” it over recesses, then press in with the felt squeegee.
Pop bolt holes after install using a sharp hobby knife from the front, then seal the cut edge with a firm press.
For deep recesses, apply in stages: anchor the flat area first, then work into the recess with gentle heat.
Small bubbles often dissipate in 24–48 hours.
For stubborn ones, use a pin to vent at the bubble’s edge, then press the air out toward the pinhole.
If you see “silvering” (micro air under clear film), firm squeegee pressure or mild heat can help it settle.
Yes—lift slowly at a shallow angle. If it fights you, warm it slightly and re-lay with the squeegee.
Avoid touching adhesive with fingers; oils reduce tack.
Initial tack is immediate.
Ride-ready after 2–4 hours; full cure ~24 hours.
